18-year-old had made it big in Hollywood as a kid, co-starring in movies like "Varsity Blues" and the "Beethoven" franchise. Taking a break to finish high school, Joe left Los Angeles and moved back to Bremerton, Washington with his family where he developed a strong friend group and was living a seemingly happy life. So it was a shock when on January 9, 2006, his family found his car abandoned on the side of the road with no trace of Joe. It turned out that he hadn't been seen for days and there were very few clues as to where he'd gone or what had happened to him.
