In June, 2014, Derek and Maria Broaddus bought their dream home in Westfield, New Jersey—a 6 bedroom, 3.5 bath mansion at 657 Boulevard. Just days later, before the family even moved in, they received their first letter from “The Watcher.”
The Watcher said they had been watching the house for decades—watching the house was their job, their life.
“Do you know the history of the house?” the letter asked. “Do you know what lies within the walls of 657 Boulevard? Why are you here? I will find out.”
And that was just the beginning of the nightmare.
